Setup Matters

This week's update on WiX v3.10.3 is that this is the last update on WiX v3.10.3. WiX v3.10.3 was released on 4-July as planned (in plan v12.3.9).

This week's update on WiX v3.10.3 is, as we historically had, a no-op: After we released the new WiX v3.10.3 release candidate build, we've received positive feedback and none that reports any new bugs or regressions.

This week's update on WiX v3.10.3 is that we did not, in fact, release WiX v3.10.3 on Memorial Day. Unfortunately, a bug report came in that demonstrated the GDI+ fix was not 100 percent effective. Luckily, Sean was on point and fixed the bug.

This week's update on WiX v3.10.3 is that Sean volunteered to take over the v3.10.3 release, leaving me to sip piña coladas on the beach. (Just kidding—the beach is full of blinding and hot sunlight and piña-colada-dirtying sand.)

Today was a big day, full of announcements and technical problems with Skype.

We had a slight-larger-than-average number of issues accumulate during the two weeks since meeting #102. Given that it's evenly divided into the two weeks between meetings, we're concluding that having a slightly-longer-than-average meeting every two weeks is still a good trade.
